The simulation model and software described in our publication “A Comprehensive Mathematical Model of Motor Unit Pool Organization, Surface Electromyography and Force Generation” is now available open source on github!
The simulator allows precise simulations of muscular physiology and has already been used for the development and validation of signal processing algorithms in some of our publications. By making the simulator openly available, we would like to encourage further use and development of the simulator in the wider community.
