IME Co-Organizes Two Successful Sessions at Last Week's EMBC!

The sessions, entitled “Ethical, Legal and Regulatory Issues of Machine Learning in Medicine,” and "Ethical Design Considerations in Medical Technology" featured presentations by Christian Herzog delivered to a crowded audience. The sessions were co-organized by the IME's Christian Herzog and Prof. Olaf Dössel, director of the Institute of Biomedical Technology, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Prof. Michael Friebe, chair of Catheter Technologies + Image Guided Therapies at Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg, respectively.
