In the future, maintenance of offshore wind turbines will play an increasingly important role due to safety, lifetime and economic efficiency, because of the aggravating environmental conditions.
The aim of this project is to develop a concept for automatic inspection of offshore wind turbines (OWTs) using unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).
