Overview
- Explore modern approaches and concepts for the understanding of the human body as a physiological system.
- Learn how researchers from different disciplines work on improving medical devices.
- See how complex systems can be considered from a control systems perspective.
Participants will be expected to hold presentations of about 20 min. with an additional 10 min. of discussion. The presentations will take place as part of a small conference-like one or two day session, the dates of which will be announced later.
There will be an introductory session before the beginning of the semester, where participants will be given the opportunity to choose from a list of available topics. In an initial step, students may sign up for more than a single topic and are provided with more detailed information. After about two weeks a final registration will commence. This allows for further discussions with the respective supervisors and an informed decision.
